How i met a true friend !

In our life we get all sort of friends right from temporary,short-lived ones to long time eternal ones.Everybody touches our heart (both in good and bad sense) in some way or the other.Life is a twisting turning journey with loads of trouble on the way and friends help to  lighten the mood and are our companions !
PRESENTING MY DEAR FRIEND : SAURABH DESHPANDE

When i was small i read an essay titled "My Best Friend" and in that was portrayed how a best friend must be.Till now nobody fit that definition perfectly (again i accept that everybody has shortcomings and nobody is perfect,so no complaints there) until i met a person called Saurabh Deshpande.....

RAKESH,SAURABH AND SAURABH GADEKAR
Now you may think how is he different ? What qualities does he have to distinguish him from others ? At first glance you may not even see through his calm and somewhat introvert persona and may mistook your opinion about him but trust me they really are unfortunate souls to miss out on such a friend. But once you get talking to him will you know that he hides deep understanding and knowledge beneath his calm demeanor.

My first meeting of him was in my first day of first year engineering. Our Mechanics teacher Adsul sir walked in and told us to come on stage and introduce us.He came and seem to be very shy and after just mentioning his name and college he went off.At that time i did not notice him much. Then later by fate or luck he became my bench partner and thus our friendship started.

RAKESH,GANESH AND SAURABH
I found him to be very hardworking and dedicated to whatever he did. No,he was not a geek nor a book-worm but a person who will give his 100% to everything he does whether he likes it or not. This was one of his qualities which i was impressed with. This was basically because i came into Electronics and Telecommunication engineering against my wishes and hence found the studies boring which affected my results.I noticed his dedication when he joined classes for both Mechanics and Computer Programming (the two subjects he felt he was not good at) and still manage to be on top of everything may it be studies or sports.

SAURABH AND GANESH:FRIENDS FOREVER
All round ability is one of his strong points.I feel he is good at everything he does.I just mentioned his academic prowess. He is good at Football (we call him 'chak' meaning wheels for his atheltic abilities and stamina) may it be playing a goalie or as a player in any position you just can't get around him.He is also good at cricket(awesome fast bowler & a hitting batsmen), Badminton, Table-Tennis(which he learnt just in front of me and was able to master in one match with me.). Did i forget to mention he is an ace photographer ? When he applies his heart to something he ends up achieving good amount of skill in it if not mastery truly "JACK OF ALL TRADES".

He is a very honest and dedicated friend.Whenever i needed any help may it be completing assignments, or any of my problems he has been there for me.The best part about him is he treats all his friends like that. You will not find anybody who has a complaint against him. There will not be a soul in my class who he would not have helped.Truly a "FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED"

SAURABH AND CO CELEBRATING HOLI
On a random note on a whim i just decided to ask some friends to define him in one word here is what igot :

1.Saurabh Gadekar (most popular guy in class) : Calm

2.Ganesh Deshmukh(his best friend from first year):
Awesome human being

3.Ipshita Jana (fellow group member) :
Multi-faceted

4.Swapnil Kshirsagar(fellow football mate) :
Honest

5.Tushar Gaikwad(fellow back-bencher):
Supercalifragilisticeexpialodocious (I think in short it means awesome)

6.Hema Madala (fellow batch mate):
Nice

SAURABH AND HIS PERFECT LITTLE GROUP
7.Dhanashree Kitture (another popular one in class): Shinchan

After my First-Semester I was never his bench partner but the closeness remained permanent truly defying logic and proving  "CLOSENESS DOES NOT DEPEND ON COMPANY". I am in my third year and even now i can walk to him and be the same person with him no awkward feelings or no insecurity wall between. That is the "Saurabh Deshpande effect "
Even now when he will read this article he will call and say what crap have you written about me,i am not so good person. There's one more quality "BEING HUMBLE".
If i keep talking about him the list would go on and on.No,I am not being paid or motivated by anyone or anybody to write about him but just wanted to reflect his so very impeccable personality which one should imbue. Just want to say i am glad to know a person like him and been able to learn so many things.Saurabh, you are awesome and keep being that always ! ! '

A faithful friend forever !
